love this rifle Military WW2 trainer .22 LR

There’s something satisfying about those old military trainers. You can almost picture generations of shooters learning fundamentals behind that same rifle.
 
That's a great-looking trainer. The old military .22s have a lot of character and the Mossberg M44 is one of those rifles that's just as enjoyable to shoot as it is to collect. Nice piece of history.
 
Those trainers built good habits without burning through expensive ammo. The military knew what they were doing picking that setup.
