I know everyone’s got opinions on this, so here’s mine after years of running one. The Mossberg 590A1 is a tank! it’s built to a standard, not just a price point. I’ve run just about every buckshot and slug load I could find through it without a single issue. I added the Magpul SGA Stock and the Magpul MOE Forend, and now it’s one of the most comfortable and capable shotguns I’ve ever handled. If you want something rugged and reliable, it’s hard to beat.
