grabbed this for $225 , had the awful AR style furniture and pistol grip , cut the grip off but still wasnt right so wood it is , has the Ghost ring kit which are $120 + shipping alone if you can find them instock anywhere

been carrying this packed with #2 buck 3 inch mags while walking the dogs around the farm every night instead of my farm AR , hoping to catch the two fox that have run rough shot through my chickens off guard , nice and light and easy to get a sight picture

some befores and afters , and one with the Maverick security 12

Not sure why the pictures ae not loading on my end! but I get the idea from your write-up. It sounds like a practical setup for walking the property

love that shotgun , and love the sights on it , im 63 and eyes are too lol , im usually about optics any more because of my peepers , but these ghost ring setups are way better than a dot (for me) , when you have a fox or fischer cat running by the time you find them in your optic your shot window is just about gone and are left with a hail mary , and more importantly you can not see what the dogs are doing while focused on the sight picture on a optic ,but with these sights you can see them running and its nothing to get a bead on them , and know if the dogs are entering your shot

i got one fox already with just bird shot that i had for my rem 870 field gun in 20 ga , the dogs had to assist to finalize the kill but it took the giddy up out of him to allow them to get him , this #2 buck im curious if it will just drop him , the bird shot was about 30 yard shot

its a momma and baby now grown that tag teamed my chickens and ducks , got about 18 birds total , got the baby because it was a small male , momma may prove a tad more slick/difficult , i doubt the loss of her kit will make her move on
