I’m thinking about upgrading the sights on my Mossberg 930 waterfowl gun. Does anyone know if there are rear fiber optic sights that pair well with the stock front, or should I replace both sights together? What setups have you found work well for this shotgun?

You can mix fiber-optic rear with the stock front but matching both usually gives the best visibility and balance.

If you really want a rear sight, you’re better off replacing the set. mixing a high-viz rear with a stock front bead often leads to alignment issues because the heights don't always match up perfectly. check out the TruGlo Tru-Bead Turkey/Deer set

Upgrading to a full set of fiber optic sights is definitely the best.
Most effective setups for the 930 is to replacing the front bead with a HIVIZ Spark III or maybe a CompSight and adding a compatible rear fiber optic sight

Ah I see.

I'll definitely check out those brands, thanks for dropping them. Did you have any first-hand experience with these?

I agree, looks like it's unanimous. Do you know where exactly I can get those? Do they have an online store for me to check?

@Moss Burger If you go with the TruGlo set, make sure you get the universal dual color version. It comes with different clips to fit the 930's rib width perfectly. First-hand, the rear ghost ring is awesome for slugs or turkey, but for waterfowl, I actually preferred using just the front fiber. The rear sight can sometimes clutter your view when you're trying to lead a fast-moving bird in low light
